After a whirlwind two years on the road opening for acts we love including Vance Joy, Evan Honerās highly anticipated new album Everything I Wanted finally drops September 19.
He joined us backstage at SOMMO Festival in Prince Edward Island to talk about the moment in time he recorded his album in, road stories from playing arenas and bars and hitch hiking in between, and the inspirations fuelling the music including everyoneās favourite tv-turned-crooner Djo.
If you get a chance to hear Evan live, youāre in for a treat. He packed the Sandbar stage at SOMMO with an electric set that was one of the highlights of the weekend. We saw more festival goers walking around in his merch than any other artist playing the weekend, even Hozier!
